Hello,
we inform you that a new festival dedicated to the experimental musics,
AUDIOFOCUS, will take place September 23th and 24th 2005, in Les Voûtes,
Paris: http://audiofocus.free.fr

Audiofocus has the role to present the contemporary research in the
experimental sound practices – research in practice –
and will concentrate more precisely on rising generation and minimal
aesthetics.
For this first edition various musicians will get together who are closely
interested,
through the improvisation, in physical and historical aspects of sound
material.
The periodicity of the festival will be declined according to two axes: an
edition annual and other specific evenings. Each
concert will be recorded and a selection will be published within
phonographic review of the festival releasing at the following
edition and which will contain articles, essays and discussions with the
musicians.
