La Fondazione Arezzo Wave Entra A Far Parte Della European Music Platform. Click Per Infos.

Gentili  lettori,
Silvia Poledrini

SUCCESSFUL EUROPEAN MUSIC PROJECTS ATTRACT

NORWAY AND HUNGARY

Music Export Bureaus Norway and Hungary join European Music Platform

By joining the European Music Platform (EMP), Norway and Hungary get access to its effective support programmes for the music sector. Norway is the first member of the EMP outside the EU, and with Hungary the first recently acceded member state has joined.

Membership of these two export bureaus at the outside borders of Europe , shows that a general awareness is rising, that European support programs and cooperation are essential to national music industries.

The Platform covers presently, with 14 members, more than 11 countries and strives to build up to a fully-fledged European music support programme.

European Tour Support, supporting bands who tour more than four countries and European Talent Exchange Programme, the European talent showcase for music festivals are now available to Norwegian and Hungarian bands and music professionals. These programs effectively support the circulation of artists and their work in Europe . All programmes of the Platform receive financial support of the European Commission (DG EAC).

Jean-François Michel, Secretary General of EMO: “The cooperation in the European music sector gets stronger and stronger. Out of professionalism, but also out of necessity.

Norway and Hungary have very strong musical backgrounds. Through the support projects of the EMP, Norwegian and Hungarian bands stand an even better chance to get known over the national borders.

The experience of Music Export Norway in export activities and the ambition of the recently founded Music Export Hungary will contribute greatly to the European Music Platform”.
